City of Tarcento - Città di Tarcento

 

Tarcento is a city along the river Torre in the Province of Udine, Italy, which has about 8.800 inhabitants and its territory includes 11 settlements. Tarcento is close to the regional Nature Park Juliens Prealps and City of Cividale - a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2011 as Longobard’s important place. Tarcento has an ancient history, and in the 19th century has reached its real artistic and cultural peak, with several art nouveau villas, restored in the reconstruction of the town after the terrible earthquake in 1976.
